    Speaker- Fire Chief Ron Stewart 
    Fire Chief Ron Stewart has dedicated more than three decades to serving others through emergency medical services, fire service leadership, and community engagement.
     
    Chief Stewart began his public safety career after completing paramedic training in 1990. He served with Scott & White EMS from 1990 to 1995 before joining the organization's Air Medical Program, where he worked until 1998.
     
    In 1998, Chief Stewart graduated from the fire academy and joined Temple Fire & Rescue, where he served with distinction for 24 years. Throughout his career, he advanced through the ranks, promoting to Driver in 2007, Captain in 2011, and Battalion Chief in 2020. During his tenure, he also served on the Temple Fire & Rescue Honor Guard for 14 years, was an active member of IAFF Local 846 for 11 years, including three years as President, and founded the department's Peer Support Team, helping establish critical resources for firefighters and first responders.
     
    On July 6, 2022, Chief Stewart was appointed Fire Chief of Williamson County Emergency Services District No. 5 (Jarrell Fire & Rescue), where he continues to lead the department with a strong commitment to professional excellence, servant leadership, and community service.
     
    Chief Stewart holds numerous advanced certifications, including Master Firefighter, Licensed Paramedic, Fire Officer IV, Fire Service Chief Executive Officer, Instructor II, and Hazardous Materials Technician. He is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership, reflecting his ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth.
     
    Outside of the fire service, Chief Stewart is deeply invested in his faith and his family. He and his wife, Kris, are the proud parents of two daughters, Skylar and Summer. As a devoted member of Redemption City Church, he regularly preaches and serves on multiple leadership committees, living out his passion for serving others both inside and outside the fire station.
     
    Chief Stewart believes that great leadership is rooted in humility, integrity, and a genuine desire to develop others. His dedication to mentoring firefighters, strengthening organizations, and building meaningful relationships continues to shape the culture of Jarrell Fire & Rescue and positively impact the community he proudly serves.
